Premier League Predictions, odds and best bets: West Ham to beat Aston Villa, favourites Fulham to defeat Man Utd

Meanwhile, Brentford have lost 17 of their last 24 Premier League away games, beating only Southampton, Luton, Bournemouth and Wolves on the road.

Palace on offer at 21/20 with Sky Bet for the win is a tasty proposition.

Tottenham are bonkers. They make my brain hurt.

To suffer 12 defeats in 22 Premier League games but still to have beaten Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Aston Villa this season is borderline impossible to analyse. They sit 15th in the Premier League but have a +10 goal difference.

West Ham sit above them but have a -16 goal difference - someone make it make sense?

Leicester could be a big price here at 9/2 with Sky Bet but I don't trust Ruud van Nistelrooy to come up with the right plan to beat Spurs.

The Foxes have conceded two or more goals in their last nine games to an average of 2.44 goals conceded per game as their style of football leaves their centre-backs woefully exposed.

although I don't trust Spurs, I do have complete trust in Dejan Kulusevski, He's got seven goals in his last 12 appearances, meaning the 2/1 with Sky Bet of him scoring has a great chance of landing.

You just know even during this game Unai Emery will be on the touchline thinking how to beat Celtic on Wednesday night.

His mind will wander. European football takes prominence, that's clear from his career in management.

This could be a half-baked version of Aston Villa and that's a dangerous game to play against any opposition in the Premier League. We've seen iffy results and performances from Villa before a big Champions League night. The 2-2 with Ipswich, the 4-1 defeat at Spurs and they made hard work of beating Southampton 1-0 at home.

This makes their win price of 1/2 with Sky Bet look very short indeed, especially looking at the recent meeting between the two at Villa Park in the FA Cup where West Ham were the better side for large periods.

Yes, they have injuries but I've got hope that a week on the training pitch under the talented Graham Potter can spark a bit of improvement. If so, the 6/4 on West Ham on the double chance, to avoid defeat, could be a massive price.

Fulham going off clear favourites to beat Manchester United in the Premier League is a little mind blowing to football fans like me who have lived through the dominance of the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

Those days are long gone now and such has been their poor recruitment in recent years, where they've blown over £160m on Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee and Antony, the chance of a successful rebuild with the purse strings now tightened looks slim.

Fulham are the more cohesive, better coached, organised and confident team, playing some great stuff this season under the criminally underrated Marco Silva.

It's why they are as short as 5/4 with Sky Bet for maximum points. A price many will snap up - and I can totally see why.
